What is ACYPAA?
In 1973, the All California Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous Round-Up was established as an annual gathering in California to provide an opportunity for young AA’s to come together and share their experience, strength, and hope. ACYPAA is visible evidence that large numbers of people are achieving a lasting and comfortable sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. AA’s who attend an ACYPAA Round-Up return home better prepared to receive young alcoholics who come to AA seeking recovery.
ACYPAA 2010 Host Committee
The All California Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous 2010 Host Committee is an AA service committee with the primary purpose of staying sober and helping other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. The 2010 ACYPAA host committee shall observe the spirit of A.A. tradition in order to collectively plan, organize and facilitate a successful 2010 ACYPAA Round-Up in accordance with the 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts for AA World Service.
The ACYPAA 2010 Host Committee meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at St. Michaels by the Sea Church 2775 Carlsbad Blvd , Carlsbad, CA 92008 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Click for directions. Please come get involved!
Information on Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
